Khopra Trek

Khorpa trek is an exotic and newly opened trek that takes you to experience the incredible wilderness of Annapurna region. The mesmerizing view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna south and Langtang mountain range are the major highlights of Khorpa ridge trek. This delightful journey follows off the beaten path via alpine forest, cultural hamlets such as Ghandruk, Tadapani, cultivated fields and rhododendron forest backed up by towering Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Nilgiri (7,061m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Hiuchuli (6,434m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Machhapuchre (6,997m) and Lamjung (6,983m).
Khorpa ridge trek is novelty defined as the trek of community by Nepalese. This moderately difficult trek allows you to deeply immerse into highland panorama and real Himalayan life. The trail goes more gorgeous as you further walk off the beaten path and finally reach the unique area of ethnic Gurung community and yak pasture, where people still are far behind the concept of tourism.

Khorpa Trek starts with scenic flight from Kathmandu (1,360m) to Pokhara (900m), the city of lakes. The trek eventually instigates after the exploration of paradise city Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400 m).

Day 02: Visit Kathmandu City.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (835 m).

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1940 m).

Day 05: Trek to Tadapani (2610 m).

Day 06: Trek to Bayeli Kharka (3420 m).

Day 07: Trek to Upper Chisibung (2975 m).

Day 08: Trek to Khorpa ridge (3660 m).

Day 09: Trek to Swanta Village (2200 m).

Day 10: Trek to Ghorepani (2850 m).

Day 11: Hike to Poonhill then trek to Hile (1480 m).

Day 12: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (835 m).

Day 13: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure!!!
