Dhaulagiri Round trek
Dhaulagiri Round Trek via Dhampus and French base camp is one of most challenging and strenuous trek to the loop of Mt. Dhaulagiri- Seventh highest peak of world crossing two high passes of Himalaya. According to Hindu Mythology, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) means the White Mountain. Dhaulagiri Round trek offers massive Himalayan ranges that consists fifteen 7,000m+ peaks along with the land of dramatic contract. This is one of strenuous trek in Nepal that is enrooted by several alpine pastures, high passes and uninhabited valley. You must be mentally and physically fit and ready to overcome the challenges while trekking in off the beaten track. The trail passes two major high pass- French pass (5,2400m) and Thapa Pass (5,155m). Furthermore, the experience of glacier and snow walking at Italian Base Camp and Dhaulagiri Base Camp is immensely rewarding, though you need to be adventurous and conscious.
Dhaulagiri round trekking is recently opened trekking trail in Nepal that features all aspects of wilderness trekking in one of remote region of Nepal. There is also an option of Dhampus peak climbing (6,067m) for those having previous climbing experience resume. You need to pay extra to cover the climbing expenses and permit charge. You can also choose the option of continuing trek down to Kalopani, Ghorepani and all the way to Pokhara. Statistically, February to mid June and September to November are considered as the best seasons to go for trekking in Dhaulagiri.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley and preparation for trek
Day 03: Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Beni (850m/8 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 04: Trek from Beni to Babiachor (950m/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 05: Trek from Babiachor to Dharapani (1,400m/6 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Muri (1,850m/5 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 07: Trek from Muri to Boghara (2,080m/6 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 08: Trek from Boghara to Dobang (2,520m/5 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 09: Trek from Dobang to Choriban Khola (3,110m/5 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 10: Trek from Choriban Khola to Italian Base Camp (3,660m/7 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 11: Acclimatization and rest day at Italian Base Camp. Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 12: Trek from Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp (4,210m/6 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 13: Trek from Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m/7 hours). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 14: Acclimatization and exploration day at Dhaulagiri Base Camp. ). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 15: Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden Valley (5,200m/6 hours) crossing French Pass (5,360m). ). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 16: Trek from Hidden Valley to Yak Kharka (3,680m/6 hours) crossing Dhampus Pass (5,200m). ). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 17: Trek from Yak Kharka to Jomsom (2,710m/5 hours). ). Stay overnight at tented camp
Day 18: Early morning flight to Pokhara (900m). Full day sightseeing at Pokhara and overnight at hotel
Day 19: Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300m/7 hours). Stay overnight at hotel
Day 20: Transfer to airport for final departure
